Arizona biz journalist becomes PR person for city

Arizona broadcaster and business journalist Diane Arthur has joined the CIty of Surprise staff as a public information officer, according to a short article in the Arizona Republic.

Arthur, 35, has been the broadcast business reporter for the Phoenix Business Journal, providing morning business news updates on KTAR-AM (620) and Channel 15 (KNXV) since 1997.

Her writing appears in the print and electronic editions of the Phoenix Business Journal.

She has also reported business news on Channel 12 (KPNX) and Channel 10 (KSAZ) in Phoenix.
