Argus Media Ltd, a UK-based news agency and independent provider of price information and market data, has appointed Christopher Johnson as the Global Senior Vice President for Editorial.
Johnson’s role will be to oversee and develop editorial strategy and operations. Argus is headquartered in London and boasts almost 1,000 employees.
Johnson previously worked for news agency Reuters, where he worked in various editorial roles in different countries such as Thailand, Poland, Indochina, and more. Johnson first reported crude and oil products for Argus in 1983. He also moved to Singapore to set up the Argus office there in 1986, as well.
