Matt Volz
Matt Volz has joined Kaiser Health News as mountain states editor based in Helena, Montana, where he will coordinate health care coverage of the region.
Previously, Volz was editor and correspondent at the Associated Press for 18 years.
He has also served as public information officer at Mercy Corps and worked as a reporter at New Orleans CityBusiness. He has also worked at News Banner in Covington, Louisiana, as a reporter and was an English teacher at Peace Corps.
Volz is a B.A. in international studies from University of Richmond and a M.S. in journalism from Columbia University – Graduate School of Journalism.
