This week, Business News launches a content partnership with the website NerdWallet that will increase significantly the number of personal finance stories we deliver to AP customers.
Journalists at NerdWallet, based in San Francisco, write stories about financial products such as credit cards, checking accounts and IRAs. Our partnership will start with two weekly columns, one from veteran personal finance writer Liz Weston called Grow Your Money and one called Ask Brianna, targeted at millennials. These plus a selection of stories chosen and vetted by Biz editors will be available to customers exclusively for varying periods.
Customers consistently tell us they’re interested in stories that offer advice about money issues – retirement, credit, savings, etc. This partnership will allow us to give them far more of this service journalism while keeping our own journalists free to focus on high-impact breaking news and enterprise.
The first stories will be published July 18. Happy to answer any questions,
Lisa
