Associated Press economics reporter Josh Boak is moving to the news service’s White House team.

Boak has been an economics reporter for the AP since November 2013. He previously was deputy Washington bureau chief for The Fiscal Times and an economics reporter for Politico.

He also was a business reporter for the Chicago Tribune, covering energy, derivatives and agriculture. Boak also covered politics at The Toledo Blade, where he won a Livingston Award and a Gerald Loeb Award.
