Antenen promoted to deputy ME for Mergermarket/Dealreporter

Jay Antenen

Mergermarket/Dealreporter managing editor Tom Cane sent out the following announcement:

Dear all,

I’m delighted to announce that Jay Antenen has been appointed Deputy Managing Editor, Americas, for Mergermarket & Dealreporter.

In this role, Jay will oversee day-to-day editorial operations in the New York newsroom for our core coverage, ensuring that our content is in line with our strategic needs, with a particular focus on larger company coverage. As deputy for the Americas, he’ll also be in charge of spearheading specific content strategies for both products and ensuring seamless collaboration between New York and other hubs.

Jay has been with Acuris for a decade and in that time has carved out a reputation for being a leading expert on all things North America M&A, from his time covering banks and other institutions during the financial crisis to his role as Editor for Dealreporter NorthAm and subsequently Senior Editor in the integrated MM/DR newsroom.

Throughout these roles, Jay has consistently shown himself to be not only one of the most knowledgeable editors in the business but also one of the most reliable – qualities that ensure he continues to contribute significantly to the growth of Acuris in the Americas in his new role

Please join me in congratulating Jay and wishing him all the best for the new position.
