Amy Thomson starts new job as tech reporter-editor at Bloomberg in London

Reporter Amy Thomson is starting a new job as technology reporter-editor at Bloomberg in London, England.

Thomson, a graduate of the University of North Carolina’s media and journalism program, has been with Bloomberg for a little over 13 years, covering startups, health-tech, fundraising and venture capital and artificial intelligence in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Prior to that, she helped direct coverage and edited stories on acquisitions, sales, and financing for Bloomberg’s European deals team.

She has also been a media reporter and U.S. techs and telecoms reporter for the news service.
