American Lawyer parent launches morning newsletter

ALM Media, the parent company of American Lawyer, has launched a morning newsletter called “Morning Minute.”

The “Morning Minute” will be delivered every weekday between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m.

It is available for subscribers to ALM’s Law.com legal content portal, which includes contributions from across ALM’s legal publications. ALM content portals serving the consulting, financial, insurance and real estate channels will offer the “Morning Minute” for readers in the coming months.

“This offering is guided by the same digital-first strategy at the heart of our global newsroom, which emphasizes presenting cross-industry content and intelligence in ways that enable readers to garner the maximum benefit for their businesses in the least amount of time,” said Bill Carter, CEO of ALM, in a statement.

The newsletter will include news and commentary in three categories:

  • “What You Need to Know,” which provides a look at ALM’s enterprise and exclusive legal content, covering breaking news and essential stories of the day for the legal industry;
  • “While You Were Sleeping,” which includes updates from ALM reporters across the globe, including Europe and Asia, about overnight developments; and
  • “What You Said,” a section featuring insights and opinions from professionals across the legal community.
