Prior to PE News and the WSJ, Alves was a senior correspondent for InfraLainAmerica covering mergers and acquisitions and project finance for energy and transportation. She also worked for the Financial Times and the BBC.
Alves graduated from City University in London with a Master’s in financial journalism.
