Lukas Alpert, who has worked as a media reporter for 7 years, following 3 years as a correspondent in Moscow at The Wall Street Journal, is departing to join MarketWatch.com where he will be covering financial crime and scams.
He will start his new position in July.
During his time at The Journal, he was also part of a team that won a Pulitzer Prize. Prior to The Journal, Alpert was an editor at The Moscow Times. He has also worked at New York Daily News, New York Post and the Associated Press.
His work has appeared in Fox News, Yahoo Finance, Nasdaq, The Denver Post, Fox Business, Barron’s, Global Finance and more.
Alpert is a graduate of Bard College.
