As a reporter on ALM’s Business of Law desk, Newsham covers New York law firms and the state’s legal community for the New York Law Journal and other ALM publications. His beat includes law firm management and finance, competition for talent and law firm-related litigation.
He previously covered New York courts at Law360 and wrote for the Boston Globe’s business section.
Before covering courts for Law360, he covered cases and legal developments in some of New York City’s biggest industries, such as securities, asset management, banking, and white-collar crime.
Before that, he wrote about international arbitration. He has also written about Native American law, environmental law and tax law.
Newsham is a Yale University graduate in economics.
