Everett Catts has been hired as brand editor at the Fulton County Daily Report/Georgia bureau chief for ALM.
Catts started his new job on Monday.
He previously was a news editor at the Neighbor Newspapers in suburban Atlanta.
He was a news editor of the DeKalb Neighbor from October 2003 to January 2005, then as news editor of the North Fulton Neighbor from January 2005 to May 2006. He was then promoted to news editor of the Northside/Sandy Springs/Vinings Neighbor, where most recently worked.
In all three positions, he managed a staff of up to five, planned each week’s paper, wrote and edited articles and built/corrected/edited pages on the days the paper went to press. For the past two and a half years, he also managed the paper’s website.
