Ayanna Alexander is now covering social justice for Bloomberg Law.

She previously was covering pharmaceutical and health sciences news at Bloomberg Industry Group.

Alexander has been with the company since April 2018. She previously worked as an intern for Politico. She had also interned for Bloomberg Industry Group in the intellectual property, privacy and data security and tech and telecom departments.

She is a graduate of Howard University.

He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
