The Albuquerque Journal has hired Stephen Hamway to cover retail and tourism.
Hamway is also covering real estate in Albuquerque and the surrounding communities.
He has been at the Bend Bulletin in Oregon for the last four years. For the past two years, he was covering Deschutes County and Central Oregon’s public lands for The Bulletin. Before that, he spent two years as a business reporter for the Bulletin.
Hamway is a master’s graduate of the Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. His undergrad degree is from the University of Puget Sound.
