The Albuquerque Journal has overhauled its online business section.
Assistant business editor Nick Pappas writes, “‘Digital First’ is the Journal’s new strategy for delivering a robust display of local, state, national and international business stories as they develop in a more reader-friendly format.
“The goal is to publish business news online when it happens, distribute it quickly through social-media platforms and then follow it up with the newspaper’s signature comprehensive reporting.
“‘You will get everything from in-depth analysis of national and local business issues to breaking national business news, plus a complete daily business report,’ Business Editor Mike Murphy said.
“‘Our wire affiliations will provide readers with expanded access to the best reporting from The Associated Press, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Bloomberg News and from McClatchy’s stable of newspapers, including The Dallas Morning News and Chicago Tribune.'”
