¬†Christopher Ortiz, the managing editor of Albuquerque Business First, is becoming the paper’s lead real estate reporter as well.

Ortiz writes, “I am continuing my role as managing editor but will take the lead on the coverage in our publication’s most prominent and popular beat.

“But it won’t be just me. Going forward, everyone on our news team will have a hand in covering Albuquerque and New Mexico’s real estate and construction scene, from our technology reporter covering updates on projects like Facebook’s $1 billion data center in Los Lunas to our money and jobs reporter examining how state and local leaders use tax incentives to lure new developments like the upcoming Topgolf project.
