Joe Renaud, the editor of the Albuquerque Business First, an American City Business Journals paper, plans to leave the weekly business newspaper and become a teacher.
“I’m going back to school to become a teacher,” said Renaud. “I won’t be leaving immediately, however.”
Renaud became editor in September 2012. He joined the newspaper as web editor in February 2012. He was previously vice president of audience development at Major League Gaming, a New York City-based digital media and tech company.
As editor, Renaud is responsible for the strategic direction of the newsroom and the paper’s news products, as well as continuing to grow its readership both in print and online across all platforms.
Renaud is an Ohio State University graduate.
