Marie French, a reporter for the Albany Business Review in upstate New York, has been hired by Politico to cover energy and environment.
French had been working for the American City Business Journals’ paper since July 2015, covering the intersection of New York state government and business and covering health care in the Capital Region.
She previously worked for the Associated Press and the Financial Times, and she interned for Bloomberg News, St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the Orange County Register.
French is a University of Missouri graduate.
