Cindy Applebaum, publisher of the Albany Business Review, has announced she will retire later this year.
Melissa Mangini of the Business Review writes, “Her strong relationships in the business community have contributed to the continued growth of the Business Review over the past five years.
“Notably, Applebaum led the Business Review through the unprecedented times of the pandemic — moving a news and sales operation remote, navigating the switch to virtual events and continuing to be a valued resource for the business community.
“American City Business Journals, the parent of the company of the Business Review, will begin searching for Applebaum’s replacement immediately. She will stay on in her role as publisher until a successor is found and the transition is completed.”
