Alabama, Mississippi papers start biz magazine

The Mobile Press-Register and Mississippi Press Newspapers have started a business magazine called Gulf Coast Business.

Press-Register publisher Ricky Mathews writes, “Gulf Coast Business embraces the reality of those connections in our two states, and we are determined to showcase the potential they offer our businesses and communities.

“Our goal is to focus on the commercial synergies of coastal Alabama and Mississippi as they contribute to an expanding regional economy. We’ll be talking to key leaders and businesses and sharing best practices and recipes for innovation. And we’ll offer regular reports from chambers of commerce and other organizations about projects and events you’ll need to know about.

“Since Press-Register Multi Media does business in both states through the Mobile Press-Register and The Mississippi Press newspapers, we are in a unique position to bring you Gulf Coast Business. It’s already a labor of love. The collaboration between our teams in Mississippi and Alabama has been terrific.”
