Al Jazeera English has tapped Step Vaessen as a roaming correspondent, based in Berlin. Before that, she served as a Russia correspondent and Indonesia correspondent.
She was also a correspondent at NOS in Netherlands and Indonesia, covering news and current affairs in Southeast Asia.
Vaessen graduated from Radboud University.
