Agweek hires Beal as multimedia journalist

Emily Beal

Emily Beal has joined Agweek as a multimedia journalist covering agriculture and rural issues in the region in Agweek magazine, AgweekTV and agweek.com.

“I am really just excited about learning about the region and the differences in the ag industry more west than in Ohio,” Beal said.

Previously, Beal was a media intern at Arizona National Livestock Show and also served as a communications intern at Ohio Farm Bureau Federation.

In addition, she has worked at Kentucky Exposition Center, Texas Roadhouse, Kohl’s and Bob Evans Farms Inc.

Beal has a bachelor’s degree in agriculture communications from the Ohio State University.
