Ag commodities reporter Jha leaves Bloomberg

Manisha Jha

Manisha Jha, an agriculture commodities reporter at Bloomberg News in London, has left and joined Swiss asset manager Lombard Odier Investment Managers.

In her new role as content creator, she will be focusing on writing about sustainability and the role of green finance in accelerating the transition to net zero. She has been with Bloomberg News for six years and also worked as a reporter on Bloomberg’s bonds/FX, equities and oil markets beat.

Prior to Bloomberg, Manisha interned with the Financial Times and CNBC News in London.

She graduated from City, University of London with a master’s degree in financial journalism after winning a full-scholarship from The Economist magazine.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
