Chris Heine, the tech editor at Adweek, has been hired by the Bateman Group, a public relations firm.
He has been appointed director of content and media strategy and will be working from the agency’s New York City office.
Heine had been at Adweek since July 2012 and tech editor since February 2014, managing coverage around digital marketing, advertising and media.
“I feel confident Chris will also play a vital role developing new content services for the entire agency while becoming an invaluable resource to clients,” said CEO Fred Bateman in a statement.
Heine previously worked for ClickZ, Direct Marketing News, iMarketing and BrandWeek. He is a University of Nebraska graduate.
