Adweek reporter departs to join Gizmodo

Shoshana Wodinsky

After 10 months in the Adweek newsroom, Shoshana Wodinsky will be leaving the organization to join Gizmodo where she will be covering investigations on ad targeting, data mining and consumer privacy.

Her new role beings January 2020.

Before joining Adweek as tech reporter, Wodinsky served as editorial intern at NBC News. She also held the posts of life sciences editor and social media editor at Scienceline. From 2016 to 2018, she worked at Second Nexus as staff science and tech editor.

Additionally, she interned at numerous platforms including The Verge and Cell Press.

Wodinsky holds a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience from Queens College and a master’s degree in science, health and environmental reporting from New York University.
