Adweek brand editor Diana Pearl is leaving the publication to join Business of Fashion.
She will start her new job next week.
“Covering the fashion and beauty industries has been one of my favorite aspects of my job at Adweek,” she wrote on Twitter. “I’m really looking forward to focusing on it and working at a publication I’ve long read and admired.”
She was also managing editor of Brandweek. Pearl covered the business of brands, with notable reports on the waning influence of Victoria’s Secret, the rise of Casper and more.
Previously, she was a writer and reporter at People magazine.
She has a degree in magazine journalism and history from Syracuse University.
