Advanced Science News is looking for a motivated freelance writer to contribute weekly submissions that cover exciting developments in the scientific community. The ideal candidate will have strong communications skills and the ability to identify emerging research/topics, translate complex information into digestible content for a broad audience, and write engaging news stories across a wide range of scientific disciplines.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Pitch, research, and write weekly news articles and other feature-length content
- Develop contacts within the research community to stay abreast of new developments, obtain insights/quotes for articles, and to fact-check information
- Collaborate with ASN editors throughout the editorial process

EXPERIENCE
