Meg Graham, a reporter at the Chicago Tribune’s Blue Sky Innovation, has been hired by Advertising Age, a Crain publication.

Her last day was Friday. She is working out of Ad Age’s Chicago office for a month before moving to New York to cover the media agency beat.

“I’ve loved every day of this job and will miss everyone here,” said Graham on Twitter. “I will also really miss Chicago hot dogs. But very excited for what’s next.”

Blue Sky Innovation covers innovation and entrepreneurs. While there, Graham covered technology, design, startups and her favorite — old companies learning new tricks.

After graduating with a journalism degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2012, Graham started as a business reporter for the Kokomo (Ind.) Tribune, covering local business and the auto industry.

In 2013, she headed home to Chicago as a business reporter for Grid, a Sun-Times publication. Graham also covered crime, lawsuits and rotten Chicago weather at the Sun-Times breaking news wire desk.
