Jason Booth has joined Activist Insight as a senior financial journalist.
He will be based in New York.
Booth joins a team of five journalists and will be covering all the information service’s platforms, including daily news, in-depth articles, special reports, and activism vulnerability reports based on the organization’s proprietary data.
Booth brings more than 20 years of shareholder activism, M&A and restructuring experience to the company. He has worked as both a journalist and a strategic communications adviser. Previously, Booth worked as a communications executive for Steel Partners.
Additionally, Booth has also worked at the Wall Street Journal and for various publications in Asia.
“As issuers are often told, it’s important to ‘be your own activist,’ and Jason took this to heart,” said Activist Insight editor Josh Black.
