American City Business Journals, the parent of more than 40 business newspapers across the country, is launching AZ Inno to cover entrepreneurs and innovators in Arizona.
Phoenix Business Journal editor in chief Greg Barr writes, “That’s why the Phoenix Business Journal is gearing up to give readers a new, comprehensive coverage partner that will launch on Sept. 14, focused on budding innovators, growth-stage startup investors, university incubators and other key stakeholders fueling much of Arizona’s current and future economic growth.
“It’s called ‘AZ Inno,’ and it will be part of a national network in more than 40 cities nationwide through our parent company, Charlotte, North Carolina-based American City Business Journals. Currently, about 20 ACBJ cities already have Inno websites operating, and on Sept. 14, the rest of the markets around the country, including AZ Inno, will go live.
“Through AZ Inno, readers can access the insightful editorial content written by reporter Andy Blye, focusing on Arizona startups and entrepreneurs. Digital editor Jeff Gifford will coordinate coverage on the AZ Inno site and will also contribute content. Inno will include directories and other content of interest to entrepreneurs and startups, and help connect them through a handful of Inno-sponsored events each year, focused on startups to watch, for example.”
