Aberdeen biz reporter Ballard set to depart

Erin Ballard

Erin Ballard, a consumer and business reporter with the Aberdeen American News will be leaving the South Dakota paper and heading off to Minnesota.

There, she will be working for The Tracy Headlight Herald before moving back to South Dakota for law school.

Previously, she has served first as a content editor and then as a digital reporter at the Aberdeen American News.

Before that, she was a reporter at The Exponent.

Ballard received a bachelor’s degree in English from Northern State University.
