Technology news site ZDNet has named Kerry Wan its editor in chief.
He replaces Jason Hiner, who left last month to become editor in chief of The Deep View.
“ZDNET has always been at its best when it’s focused on the reader — cutting through the noise to explain how technology actually impacts our lives and businesses,” wrote Wan on LinkedIn. “My goal is to ensure we keep doing exactly that: providing clarity in an increasingly complex world.”
Wan has ben managing editor of reviews for the past year. He joined ZDNet in 2021.
He previously worked at Digital Trends and OnePlus. Wan is a graduate of Hunter College.
