ZDNET names Ortiz senior editor for AI coverage

Sabrina Ortiz

Tech news site ZDNET has named Sabrina Ortiz its senior editor for artificial intelligence coverage.

“I’m thrilled to continue leading our AI coverage as the field evolves into new frontiers while working alongside an incredible team,” she wrote on LinkedIn.

Ortiz has been at ZDNET for three years. She interned at States Newsroom and PR Week.

Ortiz is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune.
