Yahoo Finance redesigns its website

Tapan Bhat, president and general manager of Yahoo Finance, writes about the redesigned website, which he says includes 40 percent fewer ads.

Bhat writes, “We’ve better organized our quote pages so you can easily find the financial data you need, when you need it.

“We’ve also introduced advanced charts — featuring 25+ chart types, 100+ customizable indicators, and smart drawing tools — to improve your data analysis.

“The all-new customizable dock is one of the most meaningful enhancements we made.

“No matter where you go on Yahoo Finance, your customized dock will follow you so you can receive real-time updates on the market, your portfolio, trending tickers, and other things that matter to you.”
