These individuals are renowned for their expert insights, and with finance being highly personal to each person’s background and own lived experiences, they can authentically address financial issues across a range of communities. Yahoo Finance has long been the trusted guide to financial information, and partnering with these creators aims to open up opportunities to provide more people with access to useful content and tools in a way that is most relevant to them.
The first group joining Yahoo Finance include Shareef (Ross Mac) McDonald, David Auten and John Schneider (The Debt Free Guys), Tiffany Aliche (The Budgetnista), Robert “Bob” Powell (Retirement Daily), Kenny Polcari, and Patrick Murphy & Dan Kunze.
The creators will be developing content from a new podcast series that dive deep into their respective areas of expertise to quick explainer videos that break down complex financial concepts for social media and the web, to appearing as regular contributors across shows on Yahoo Finance Live.
“Today, Yahoo Finance is No. 1 in reach with C-suite executives, financial advisors, and high-net-worth investors, but we have a unique opportunity to grow our audience further by meeting more investors where they are with voices that match their needs and interests,” said Tapan Bhat, president and general manager of Yahoo Finance. “We’re partnering with individuals who have made powerful, authentic connections with their communities. We’re excited to give them another platform to share and introduce those communities to the content and tools that Yahoo Finance offers.”
