Yahoo Finance hires LoGiurato as senior front page editor

Yahoo Finance has hired Brett LoGiurato as senior front page editor.

He has been senior editor at Future of Work and a senior editor at the Wharton School Press at the University of Pennsylvania, where he acquired and edited books.

LoGiurato previously was an executive editor at Insider, where he managed the site’s homepage. and was also senior political correspondent and politics editor.

He was also a senior national political correspondent at Fusion and a contributing writer and editor to Sports Illustrated.

LoGiurato is a graduate of Syracuse University.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
