Yasmin Khorram is joining Yahoo Finance as a senior reporter.
Khorram comes to Yahoo Finance after a decade at CNN and four years reporting at CNBC. Some of her most impactful stories include her forensic analysis of C3.AI’s financials and an investigation into “pig butchering” crypto scams on LinkedIn.
Her breakthrough moment came covering Theranos, after spending every day in a courtroom for four months reporting on the trial of Elizabeth Holmes. Some of her biggest interviews include California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
Khorram will be based at Yahoo Finance’s New York City headquarters. She will report to Yahoo Finance executive editor Brian Sozzi, joining his investing analysis team that includes senior editor Jennifer Wang, anchor Seana Smith and senior reporter Brooke DiPalma.
