Laura Bratton has been hired by Yahoo Finance as a breaking business news reporter.
She has been working at Quartz as a tech reporter and co-author of the “Daily Brief” newsletter.
Before Quartz, she worked at The Messenger as a breaking business news reporter.
Bratton was an intern for New Hampshire Public Radio. She also was a producer for “Shoresides,” a local journalism project in rural coastal North Carolina. She is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and holds a master’s degree from CUNY’s Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism.
