Kate Browne has joined Yahoo Finance Australia as editor-in-chief to lead its editorial strategy and team.
She will report to Euan Black, director of content at Yahoo Australia and New Zealand.
She joins from Finder, a fintech in Australia, where she recently served as editor-at-large and media spokesman. Before that, she was managing editor.
Browne has over a decade of experience and has appeared as a finance expert across various shows, including Seven News, Today, Nine News, SBS world news and more. She formerly worked as a TV presenter and writer at the ABC.
Browne has a B.A. from the University of Technology Sydney and a M.A. from Western Sydney University.
