Yahoo Finance anchor Josh Lipton is leaving the news organization after three years and is looking for another opportunity.
“What I do best is taking complicated subjects and making them simple, understandable and interesting, whether on-camera or in print,” he wrote on LinkedIn. “I enjoy having real conversations, and telling stories that people want to watch and read.”
He was co-anchor of “Closing Bell” alongside veteran financial journalist Julie Hyman.
Previously, he served as a technology correspondent for over eight years at CNBC and held editorial roles at Bloomberg and Forbes. He also held a position in corporate communications at Apple before making his return to reporting.
Lipton holds a bachelor’s degree from Colgate University and a master’s degree from Columbia University.
