Shara Tibken
Shara Tibken, former Wall Street Journal personal finance news editor, has been hired by NVIDIA as managing editor.
She oversees NVIDIA’s Technical Blog, which educates developers about the company’s innovations.
At the Journal, she edited a team of award-winning columnists and reporters covering the latest AI developments, TikTok trends, technology’s impact on teens and much more. Tibken also wrote technology columns and edited two of the Journal’s most successful newsletters.
Before joining the Personal Tech team in 2021, she spent nine years at CNET, most recently as managing editor of the CNET News team. Tibken was the Apple beat reporter for six years and covered Samsung and other mobile device makers.
She completed two journalism fellowships in Germany, and wrote extensively about 5G and the digital divide. She began her journalism career at Dow Jones Newswires in New York, where she covered semiconductors and enterprise hardware.
