Wall Street Journal reporter Isabella Simonetti is now covering Amazon.
She has been a media reporter covering the industry broadly, spanning sports rights, new media, cable TV and publishing
Simonetti joined the Journal in 2023 from the New York Times where she was the David Carr Fellow in Business Reporting. At the Times, she covered breaking business and economics news, writing often for the front-page of the paper.
She previously was interning at Bloomberg News. She also interned at Her Money, Vox, the New York Post and the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Simonetti is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. While there, she was president of The Daily Pennsylvanian, the student newspaper.
