WSJ’s McCabe to cover Europe hedge funds, asset managers

Wall Street Journal reporter Caitlin McCabe is now covering European hedge funds and asset managers from its London office.

McCabe has been in London covering markets from a global perspective since February 2022.

McCabe has been at the Journal for more than years. She previously was a Philadelphia Inquirer real estate reporter.. She also was a suburbs reporter for the Inquirer.

She has covered everything from the Amtrak train crash to the arrested-then-exonerated Temple physicist to a presidential candidate named Donald Trump. McCabe had internships at Bloomberg News, the Wall Street Journal and the Charlotte Observer’s business desk.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
