WSJ’s Marino-Nachison, markets news editor, departs

David Marino-Nachison

David Marino-Nachison, a markets news editor at The Wall Street Journal, has left the publication for a new opportunity.

He has previously worked as an editor at the Journal working on product development efforts and on the publishing desk, as a writer and editor at Barron’s, and as MarketWatch’s enterprise editor.

A Washington, D.C., native, Marino-Nachison graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

He has also worked as a writer and editor at publications including the Washington Post, the Motley Fool and the Manassas (Virginia) Journal Messenger.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
