He has been the West Coast bureau chief for U.S. news.
Based in Los Angeles, he previously covered the entertainment industry for the Journal, as well as the Los Angeles Times and Variety. He is author of the bestselling books “The Big Picture: The Fight for the Future of Movies” and “All the President’s Spin.”
Fritz is a graduate of Swarthmore College.
