WSJ to begin hoteling desks in main newsroom

Wall Street Journal managing editor Liz Harris sent out the following on Friday:

All

We are moving to desk hoteling in the 1211 newsroom.

We will continue to sit in sections with our teams, as we currently do. There will be slightly fewer desks for each team; and most sections will be moving.

The move will happen on May 22. This means you will need to pack your belongings by Friday, May 19.

Information for packing is here.

There will be locking storage available for everyone.  An FAQ document about desk hoteling is here.

If you have any questions that are not covered in the FAQ please email Kate Ortega.

Best, Liz
