Candice Choi has been promoted to Wall Street news editor at The Wall Street Journal, reporting to Dave Benoit and Cara Lombardo.
Previously, Choi was a markets editor at The Journal, which she joined in early 2023.
She previously was at CNBC editing business and consumer news stories. Choi has been at the Associated Press for 17 years. She was also a longtime food industry reporter, personal finance reporter, and business reporter.
She spent 2017-18 as a Knight-Wallace Journalism Fellow at the University of Michigan.
Choi holds a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University.
