WSJ promotes Bobrow to features editor

Emily Bobrow has been promoted to features editor at The Wall Street Journal.

Previously, Bobrow was a reporter working for Review. She wrote the weekly profile column “Weekend Confidential” from 2020 to 2023.

Previously, she worked as a staff editor and writer at The Economist, covering culture, politics and policy in New York, London and Washington, D.C.

She has contributed features and reviews to the New York Times Magazine, NewYorker.com, The Economist’s 1843 and The Atlantic.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
