WSJ podcast producer Novetsky joins NY Times’ “The Daily”

The New York Times has hired Rikki Novetsky as a producer for “The Daily.”

She joins from The Journal, a news podcast with the Wall Street Journal about money, business, and power, where she was a producer. She also worked with WSJ hosts and reporters to adapt news, features, and investigations into narrative podcast episodes.

Before that, she reported and produced Wireframe, a design podcast in collaboration with Adobe. She was also an associate producer at Pineapple Street Media, where she produced the New York Times’ Still Processing.

Novetsky has also interned at NPR and was a business fellow at The Atlantic.

Novetsky is a graduate of Barnard College.
