The Wall Street Journal has hired Meridith McGraw to cover the White House.
McGraw is a national political correspondent for Politico, based in Washington, D.C. Her current coverage focuses on the 2024 presidential race, former president Donald Trump, and Republican politics.
Before covering the presidential campaign, she extensively covered Trump’s post-presidency and the Trump White House.
McGraw joined Politico in 2019 as a White House reporter after working as a White House producer and reporter for ABC News. She began her career at ABC News as a Frank Reynolds Fellow and went on to cover Capitol Hill, work as a producer for ABC News’ “Good Morning America,” and contributed to two Emmy-award winning teams.
She regularly appears on programs on Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, and NBC News.
McGraw graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and has a master’s from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism
